9th Bridge School will be hosting its 3rd annual Kidz Street Festival and Fundraiser Presented by Zappos.com.
This family-friendly festival will showcase community partners and feature rides, games, food, and activities.
The Tinker Lab will be an area for children to explore and tinker; Interactive Alley will provide engaging, hands-on games and activities; the Artists' Area will bring out your child's creativity; the Food Hub will incorporate gardening and nutrition education; Toddler Town will be a special area for children aged 2 and under; and the Community Block will showcase nonprofits associated with Education, Children, and Downtown Las Vegas.
At this year's festival, there will be inflatable rides, a rock climbing wall, trackless train, carnival games, face painters, balloon artists, petting zoo, a DJ, tinker activities, and so much more!
*Limited Number of Early Bird All-Access Wristbands are available until October 3rd.
At the door:
- $5 entry fee for all attendees (children 2 and under are free).
- Rides, games, and activities will range from 1-5 tickets, and each ticket will cost $1. 
- Unlimited Rides Wristbands will be $20 each (includes free entry)
- All-Access (Unlimited Rides, Games, and Activities) Wristband will be $40 each (includes free entry).
- Food will be cash only.

Age of Chivalry Renaissance Festival
October 12th - 14th

Features a variety of shows each day, more than 100 artisans, historical reenactments, and plenty of food and drink to satisfy the masses.
Admission is $13 per day for adults and $8 per day for seniors ages 60 and older and children ages 6 to 12, ages 5 and younger are free. 
Weekend passes are $30 for adults and $20 for children, ages 6 to 12, and seniors, ages 60 and older. 
Combo packs including admission, an event T-shirt and 18x24 commemorative posters are available for Three-day options.

Family, Fur & Fun Festival

*Attendees are encouraged to bring their well-behaved, leashed pets.
Festivities include a variety of fun, educational and interactive booths, including dog sport demonstrations by Atomic Dogs, pet adoption and fostering opportunities, arts and crafts, doggie photography, spay and neuter education, raffle with great prizes, music, food and refreshments, and more. McGruff the Crime Dog also will be in attendance.

The popular Halloween Pet Costume Contest will be at 1:30 PM.
Attendees and their pets are invited to dress in costume and enter to win prizes for Best in Show, Best Family (can include humans and/or multiple pets), Funniest Costume, and Cutest Costume. Participants can register at the event with entry at $3 per category.

2018 Chalktober Fest
Saturday, October 20th

Skye Canyon

This free and family-friendly event will feature the second annual juried chalk art competition and art fair, local food trucks, live music, a beer and wine station, and a kid-friendly art and fun zone.
In the Kids Art Area, children can create an art project to take home. 
There will also be an inflatable slide with two bounce houses. 
Chalktober Fest will also feature a pumpkin patch where kids can pick their own pumpkin to take home (or decorate in the Kids Art Area). 
There is a $2 suggested donation per pumpkin with 100% of the proceeds benefitting Create A Change. 
One pumpkin per child; pumpkins are available while supplies last. 
The pumpkin patch will also have a fall-themed photo area. 
Kids are welcome to wear a Halloween costume to the event.

As Nevada’s largest literary event, the LVBF is a celebration of the written, spoken and illustrated word. It will celebrate its 17th year with well-known authors, programming for readers of all ages, poetry, workshops, music, exhibits, panel discussions, and more.
