Henderson Events Plaza

The City of Henderson dazzles once again with the return of its popular holiday celebration. With a new theme this year (“Dazzling Desert Holiday”), WinterFest is set to shine. 
Admission is free; some activities may require paid admission.
The event features family-friendly activities, including a tree lighting ceremony with Mayor Debra March and Santa Claus, craft & gift fair, holiday entertainment, children’s activities and strolling carolers. 
Other attractions include a Ferris wheel, carousel, train rides, toboggan slide and pony rides.
Wristbands are available Friday and Saturday for day-of unlimited access to the Ferris wheel, carousel, train ride, toboggan slide, animal rides, and rock wall. 
The WinterFest Evening Light Parade takes place at 5 PM on Dec. 9th. 
It features dozens of glimmering entries marching through the Water Street District. Each of which decorated to the theme, “Dazzling Desert Holiday.”

Heritage Holidays: Celebrate the Season
Clark County Museum

The houses and buildings on Heritage Street, composed of historic homes from around Southern Nevada, will be donned in holiday apparel and ready for self-guided tours. 
Daylight tours required daily museum admission, which is $2 for adults, $1 for children. 
The museum is closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.

Now in its seventh year, the Heritage Holidays event is the only time when the public can visit Heritage Street at night to see the museum's unique collection of houses lit up for the holidays. The two-night festival includes holiday music and strolling carolers from Green Valley High School's acclaimed Madrigals choir, a craft tent where children can make their own holiday decorations, visits with Santa and his elves in the outdoor gazebo, and plenty of hot cocoa. 
Some Museum Guild volunteers also get into the spirit of the event by dressing up in period outfits to welcome visitors.
